COVID-19 Office Policy

Help Us Keep Our Clinic Space Safe. Please Read:

  • To avoid crowding, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment. Feel free to stand while waiting and stay 6’ away from others.

  • Please wash your hands upon arrival. If that is not possible, use the hand sanitizer provided.

  • It is required that you wear a mask or face covering to your appointment. 

  • We ask that you reschedule your appointment and do not come to the office if you have had:

    • Fever within the past two days: Please don’t consider yourself fever free unless your temperature has been normal for two days without the use or medication (Tylenol, Advil, etc.)

    • Shortness of breath or an active/uncontrollable cough.

    • Any other cold or flu symptoms including chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. Please wait two weeks from the onset of symptoms, or until you’ve been symptom free for 72 hours before coming in for an appointment.

    • Close contact with someone suspected/known to have COVID-19 in the last 14 days.

  • Please Note the 48 hour Cancellation Policy does not apply if you need to cancel due to illness

Screening & Protocols

  • All patients will be screened for the following symptoms prior to their appointment and no practitioner will come to work if they are experiencing the following symptoms: fever, shortness of breath, cough, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat or new loss of taste or smell.

  • Practitioners will wear surgical masks or KN95s at all times.

  • Patients will keep their mask or face covering on during the entire duration of their time in the office, including during treatment. 

  • Patients should not bring anyone else to their appointments, but if they are necessary for an aspect of patient care, they should be pre-screened in the same way as patients. 

  • Patients will be referred to their primary care MD or urgent care if they have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19. 

  • Patients will be asked to self quarantine per current CDC guidelines if they have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19.

  • Patients will be asked to notify their practitioner if they are suspected or confirmed to have COVID-19.

Social Distancing

  • All staff will maintain 6’ of distance from each other. 

  • Patients will not arrive more than 5 minutes before their appointment to avoid crowding in the waiting room and if they are in the waiting room, they will stay 6’ away from other patients and practitioners.

  • Telehealth will be utilized as much as possible.

Disinfection Procedures

  • Patients are asked to wash their hands upon arriving at the office. If for some reason they can’t, they will use hand sanitizer.

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided in the waiting room and each treatment room.

  • Frequently touched surfaces by staff will be wiped down daily.

  • All clean laundry will be kept in a clean plastic bin. All dirty laundry will be kept in a sealed separate container. 

  • Patients will be spread out in order to allow for enough time to properly disinfect the treatment rooms between each patient.
